Page Rank (PR)= a grade Google gives your site

One of the key factors is the number of the links coming back to your site from other sites AND quality (PR) of the site doing the linking.
In planning a linking strategy, you want to be trying to get links back from high PR sites.

PR is not the whole story but it is one of the factors Google considers when determining your position in the SERPS.
There are a number of ways to check the Page Rank of your site…
1. Here is one online tool you can use (there are many others)…PRChecker
2. You can add the Search Status plugin to the Firefox browser which will show the Page Rank of every site you’re on in the Status Bar.
