Page rank is a number between 0 – 10 which represents Google’s assessment of your reputation and authority.
One of the key factors is the number of the links coming back to your site from other sites AND quality (PR) of the site doing the linking.

SEO is about getting your site ranking high in Google’s SERPS.
It revolves around keywords, keyword placement and site structure in an attempt to appeal to Google’s algorithm.
The Google Algorithm is the mathematical formula that Google uses to create the results (SERP’s) when you do a Google search.
It is top secret so all anyone knows about it is what Google tells us (not a lot)…and they change it from time to time.
The rest of what’s said about it by “SEO experts” is based on hypothesis and testing…some good and some not.
