Thomas asks…

Have you found your niche?

New Niche Finder answers:

Um, yes, you could say I’ve found *one* of my specialties in life. ^_^

Trouble is, it may be too special, too narrow a niche. As in, I have trouble finding others in my time zone into what I’m into, never mind people where I live in my hometown. O_o

Story of my life though, really. Whenever *I* like something, almost nobody else does. Usually….

How to Search & Find Niche Blogs…………………….?

Hi SEO Folks,

Would you please help me know that How to Search & Find Niche Blogs (blog post) for my website to comment on? Lets say my niche is seo, internet marketing etc.

New Niche Finder answers:

Yes, reverse engineer all the links to your competitors.
To find your niche blogs you need to use Scrapebox software otherwise do this manually:
1. Put your keyword into the Google and note the site ranking #1.
2. Go to Yahoo! Site Explorer http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/ and put this #1 site there to explore.
3. Click Inlinks button, choose Show Inlinks: Except from this Subdomain and To: Entire site.
This will show you all the backlinks of your competitor at #1 position of Google.
Follow these links and put there yours.
Hope that helps.

Robert asks…

beginning blogging niche to find my niche?

I am getting ready to start a blog. But I am fairly new to this so I was wondering if any experienced, successful bloggers think it would be ok to start a personal blog and let it lead me to where the most interest is. I am not expecting to make any money off of this blog, just test the waters a little and learn about web and blog design in the process before I launch my forever blog ( never say forever).

New Niche Finder answers:

You can’t go wrong doing that, will give you great practice with WordPress, consistent posting, etc.
Probably won’t find many followers since it’s very broad.
Best advice I heard for choosing a topic was to niche/narrow down until you feel uncomfortable that it’s too narrow. That way you become the topic expert.
Start out with Rule of 7 (write your 7 passions, 7 fears, 7 problems) – look for ones that provide wants, not needs – and bonus points if they deal with health, wealth, relationships, or irrational passions.
Good luck,

How to find your niche in life ?

New Niche Finder answers:

Ahh. I like that question. My ex boss once told me to do that as finance was not really me! I did lots of things after that and the past 2 years with a lot of thought and reflection i found my niche which is writing, and i love it. Am currently doing a course and going onto degree next year.

Thing is, it wasn’t something new, i have always liked it, just put it on the back burner for a while. I think if you take a bit of time, maybe travel and try different experiences sooner or later you will come to realise what you like the most and you will be very contended. That thing might have been there all the time, a talent which you have ignored. So look deep in your heart and you will find that niche. I wish you the best of luck.
