Your Questions About How To Discover New Things

Daniel asks…

Where on Charles Darwin’s journey did he discover things such as fossils, the finch’s, etc.’?

Alright I have to to this pretty big report, and I’m curious as to, at what locations did Charles Darwin discover things at, and what did he discover? Also, what are Malthus, Lamarck and Darwin’s similarities and differences?

New Niche Finder answers:

If you are doing a “pretty big report,” you need to go to the library and ask the librarian to help you find good information on this. You can’t do a report with half-baked answers on YA.

What are the best activities for 7 month old babies?

I have a baby boy who’s starting to discover things. Where can I bring him? Can I enroll him to baby classes? Will the zoo be attractive for him?

New Niche Finder answers:

Sensory activities at this age are very good stimulus for your baby. Just as described in earlier posts, the grass, the sand and other things he can touch are great sensory activities. You may even try musical instruments where your son may get a reaction from things such as a drum, tambourine, or maracas. As for Gymboree, I highly suggest it since it incorporates all of these things as well as motor skills (movement) development.

A word of warning though, all children, and I do mean all will want to experience the world by tasting it. Please watch your son when he plays so he doesn’t eat anything and also when he is around other children, as I would not like to see him get sick.

I wish you all the best, may you and your son have a learning experience!

What is the meaning to save lives and work hard to produce all of this knowledge and such?

It’s kinda like stomping snow off of your shoes before you ski, they’re going to get snowy again anyway.

Why save lives if they’re going to die anyway?

Why discover things in astronomy, history, etc. when all of the knowledge will be forgotten, destroyed, and rot until it turns into atoms again anyway?

New Niche Finder answers:

I actually agree…. We shouldnt create medicines to cure people from things, when nature is cleansing the earth, they are meant to die… If i got cancer, or some disease, i am meant to get it.
By saving people you’re interfering with nature… Unless its saving them from a physical accident.. Like falling off a cliff… But disease and illness is natures way of cleansing, making room.
Knowledge…. People just have to know things, they cant accept anything for just what it is… It’s western culture, nothing happens unless its proven – pictures or it didnt happen.
Its disgraceful. Why cant they just accept the world the way it is and enjoy it and nurture it and give back to it, instead of trying to copy it – cloning, inventing seeds.
People have lost their connection with the earth, they’ve become corrupt… And only nature can fix it now.

How does the begining to this short story look?

Preschool is where kids cry, discover things about the world they live in, and most importantly, for the first time, make friends. My Preschool was the typical in-church place, stuffed with blocks, puzzles, and an overwhelming sense of foreboding (for me at least). I can only presume my first day in this paradise of pain was such, painful, scarring, and atrocious.

New Niche Finder answers:

Well, it’s okay. It doesn’t grab me. But it’s not bad. But atrocious what? You need something else to be atrocious.
