Your Questions About How To Find A New Hairstyle

Thomas asks…

help with a new hairstyle?

I’m having my hair cut next weekend, and I’ve finally decided how I want it cut. The only thing is, I can’t find any decent pictures to show my hairdresser.
I want it styled the same as the girl from the New Found Glory video for “Dressed to Kill”.
I can’t find any high quality pictures, and I’ve tried doing screen shots of the video, but they arn’t coming out good enough.

If anyone can find me any smiliar styles or pictures, video shots or even if anyone knows the name of the girl in the video, it would be very much apreciated.

Thanks x!

How do I find my perfect hairstyle?

Well, I’m going to a new school this year in a different town then usual, and I kind of want to have a fresh start. I figured I could begin with a new hairstyle, but I’m not sure what to do with my hair. I sort of want a rocker/punk type style (for girls) but I don’t know how I should cut it or style it. Can anyone help? Oh, and I have bangs and I’m considering making them kind of spiky with gel, but styling suggestions for bangs would help too.

Really afraid of going for a complete new hairstyle and look?

l have always been that person who has never had a haircut short and have always been brunette but l am getting so bored with my looks now. l have very fine hair so l know that if l get lots of layers and shorter hair it would volumise it and look thicker, l want it to be easier to blow-dry, straighten, etc. How can l face my fear and go for it? Hopefully l’ll find the right hairstyle, l just want to look completely different after losing a stone in body weight. Thanks!

New Niche Finder answers:

Well lots of people are like this, including myself. If i were you i wouldn’t get my hair cut really short straight away I would get it cut shoulder length or little above first just to see if i liked it. That way it doesn’t take to long to grow out. If you want to get layers you should short-medium layers that frame your face, maybe get a side fringe or fringe. Heres some pics,
Good Luck x

New haircut for curly hair?

I have naturally curly hair and my hair goes up to the middle of my back… I’ve had it the same for a while. According to my hair salonist, she said she cut it in an angle. I’m trying to find a new hairstyle to do… People have suggested that I should cut my hair in long layers. How long should my hair be for me to cut my hair in long layers and for it to look good? Or are there any other haircuts I can do so that it’s still pretty but doesn’t look like a pyramid? Any suggestions?

New Niche Finder answers:

I have curly hair, and just got mine cut! Definitely have layers, otherwise it will look like it is flat to your head. I would cut it shorter in stages…not all at once, so you can get used to it! Just find different ways to style it…that usually helps too, part it differently, use different products, try a ‘poof’ sometime! =)
