New Niche Finder answers:

Speaking just from the online business point of view, a specialty niche is the only practical way for a small time operator to make a showing in the search results, one ideally would rank at the top of page 1 of Google searches for your product.service, free search engine traffic leaves more profit margins than using paid advertisements to bring in customers. Unfortunately the most profitable large market searches are highly competitive, with millions of sites coming up for a search for Jewelry. Sites at the top of the results for Jewelry spend a fortune in site development and search optimization to secure the spot. A business that caters to a smaller specialty niche, like Stainless Steel Jewelry will have 100 time less competition, making it possible to rank well for at least that one particular search.

What is the niche of a leatherback sea turtle?

My son is doing a science project on Leatherback sea turtles and one of his research questions is- What is your animal’s niche?

New Niche Finder answers:

To eat jellyfish. Also they are eaten by tiger sharks. A niche is the organisms place in the food chain and effect on its habitat, in this case marine. Not enough leatherback sea turtles means fewer sharks because they cannot eat them and means more jellyfish so fewer small fish which the jellyfish zap. Sometimes when the come up on land their eggs provide nourishment for other organisms. Also as small vulnrable young ones they need to look out for ghost crabs on their way down the beach to the water.

Mandy asks…

What are the niches of the Gray Wolf?

I need to know the niche, fundamental niche, and realized niche of the Gray Wolf. Please and thanks!

New Niche Finder answers:

A niche of an organism is simply the role it plays in its ecosystem- like producer, consumer, etc.

A Gray wolf is an apex predator.

An Apex predator is an organism that is the cornerstone of their ecosystem. Their responsibility is to ‘filter’ their ecosystem, get rid of the old, injured animals and once they are killed, they also provide food for scavengers.

Example, A gray wolf kills an old injured deer, because that deer is dead, it also provides as a food source for scavengers.

What defines an apex predator are 2 things.
1. They have no natural predators in their ecosystem.
2. They play a critical role in their ecosystem.

The gray wolf is an apex predator, therefore its niche is filtering out the old animals and help balance out the ecosystem in which they are located.

Maria asks…

Who has a good niche marketing strategy?

I’m looking for a great niche marketing strategy that can make me money. I know that it will take some time to start seeing the money but I don’t want to waste time and money on a strategy that doesn’t work. What strategy have you used and has it been successful?

New Niche Finder answers:

I would really recommend that you check out www.mattbacak.com. He has made millions of dollars doing Internet marketing and really does give you inside information on what has worked for him and how you can be successful. You can definitely learn a great niche marketing strategy from him.

I recommend his IM Gold membership or the Internet Marketing Dirt newsletter. His blog and free newsletter has some great info, but if you want a real strategy to follow, then I suggest you spend the money on his product.

I have learned a great deal from him. No, I am not a millionaire but I only do IM part-time as I have a full-time job as a teacher. I started this summer doing Internet marketing while I was off from school and am already seeing some pretty decent money come in. The best thing about niche marketing is that you don’t have to work on it every day. I usually only spend 2 nights a week and the weekends doing it now since school started. Definitely check him out.

Jenny asks…

I want to start a business in my barn, anyone know a niche to make big money? Worm farm, special plants, etc?

I have this commerical grade barn, concrete floor, air controlled, about 3,000 sq ft at my home property. It just sits empty and I’m desperate to think of a way to make some extra money. Looking for ideas to distribute, grow, or manufacture something that is possibly a hard to find or niche product I can sell to Wal-mart, or other big businesses. Any ideas? Thank you so much

New Niche Finder answers:

To keep your barn environmentally safe, I would suggest selling a natural product. Aloe Vera is a good idea since this plant is easy to grow and is very good for giving people optimal health. It is a good niche and you will be supplying not only walmart, but other manufacturers who use it to make shampoo, conditioner, aloe vera juice, etc.

Check out this source that shows you how to grow the aloe vera plant at http://squidoo.com/aloe-vera-juice-benefit

Good luck!!
