Your Questions About New Niches

Jenny asks…

how do i put in a shower niche in?

i’m renovating my bathroom and i want to put in a few niches into the shower? do i put them in the studs first and cut backerboard to go around them or do i put up the backerboard first and cut out a hole to fit the niche? what if i put in a vapor barrier? how do i get a niche in there if the barrier is stapled over the studs?

New Niche Finder answers:

I would work out the height using the proposed wall tiles so the bottom of your niche corresponds with a full tile (taking in to account the height of the floor tiles) then fit timbers in between the stud fit the backer boards sut holes for niches line with backer board, you can then fit vapor barrier overlapping and sealing any joints. When you tile put a small fall in the bottom tile so the water doesn’t puddle. Good Luck

Lizzie asks…

In what niche would it profitable to make a website?

I want to make a website but I also want the website to be in a niche that would be profitable. What niches are the most profitable?

New Niche Finder answers:

You have the right idea. One good way to brainstorm niches is by using the Google Adwords Keyword tool. To find it go to Google. Type in “keyword”, and hit im feeling lucky. That will bring you right to the keyword tool. Put in a seed keyword like “arts and crafts”. Then on the right choose “phrase” from the drop down box. This should return a lot of long tailed keyword phrases. If you see the graph on the left is average, and the searches are good(1000 or more) you have found a good niche. Repeat with other seed words like video games, fitness, bodybuilding, losing weight etc.

Donna asks…

Are species that occupy different niches likely to compete?

i know the local loss of a species due to competitive exclusion is most likely to occur if two species have niches that are very similar. But what if they have different niches?

New Niche Finder answers:

If they have two different niches it’s not likely. Food and territory are two primary reasons for competition among species. If you remove that from the equation, there’s not much reason to compete.

Mandy asks…

I dont understand the difference of a niche and a habitat. What are the niche and the habitat of these animals…..

Thanks it would be a big help if someone could answer my question.

New Niche Finder answers:

The niche of a creature is the role it plays and where it fits into its environment. The habitat is the actual place it lives, hunts, etc.

I’m sure you can figure the rest out from there.
