Your Questions About New Niches

Carol asks…

What articles are paid best by Associated Content?

In what niches, how should the articles be?

New Niche Finder answers:

Associated Content usually pays the most when you sell them the full rights to the article. This means you no longer have the right to use it.

Since your focus is the amount of money allow me to suggest that you go to http://www.elance.com and bid on article writing jobs there. You’ll make a lot more money.

Ruth asks…

What is the best keyword for LOANS?

All keyword tools suck! I tried many of them and every time I get a varied set of results concerning the niches of a general keywords. Building sites takes alot of time and efforts and unless it is fruitful it will be a desperate experiment that takes
enthusiasm away. Any suggestions?

New Niche Finder answers:

It used to be that you could type the word loans a thousand times in small font colored white on a white background in a webpage. They say this no longer works, but I don’t know. They now say high traffic to a site is now the best way to get higher search results, but I think its more complex, and the best info is what google tells you on its site..

Paul asks…

What does it take to get into the engineering field (specifically the other non-civil fields)?

I am wanting to know what steps I need to follow to become an engineering professional. For example, what books I need to get, what I need to do, etc. I am already finishing college for engineering, but I do not know if I will ever find a job. I already have civil/surveying/environmental covered, but what about electrical/computer/chemical/mechanical/software/ and biological engineering. I am wanting to choose a set of niches that I can pursue a career with from civil and one or more of these fields. Any tips for how to become an entrepreneur in these fields?

New Niche Finder answers:

Engineering cannot be learned through home schooling or reading books by yourself. It is a combination lab/practical training seminars etc. If you have done engg. In wrong major or womething you don’t like I would suggest enroll in the same university for 3 year course in another, check with your college if they offer this.

David asks…

How do you go about starting a stock photography company?

I’ve got a camera and the niche target market but I’m not sure about what sort of business registration or tax ID type things I need. Are there any other sort of legal things that need to get filed?

New Niche Finder answers:

You fail to mention any photographic training. Stock photography is a big business and before you go to the expense of starting your own company which will need a good web site, tax id, promotional budget, business license, business plan etc, perhaps you should see if your stuff will sell.
This is my shutterpoint page
(I am sure it will but if you have a client base first it will help you immensely.) Might I suggest you get free accounts at the current stock photo sites and test the waters? Shutterpoint is a pretty good one to start with although there are some limitations on how many photos you can post unless you pay a fee.
This is my photo & travel web site
I also design and put together websites like the silvaspoon one.
There will also be getting your web site onto the search engines which takes some time and effort.. I have a program to analyze and make suggestions to increase your ranking in the search engines..
Until you declare yourself a business your social security number can act as your tax id.. Depending on your location your business license can come later when you know you have an income to pay the annual renewal fees and company taxes as well as personal taxes. (you as a freelancer just declare your income on your tax return)
There are a number of other places to put your stock photos out there for sale that already have people coming to their site to find what you are going to sell, so I would do a search and list with as many of them as you are able to.(some will require some submissions to judge if they think your work is good enough to sell.)
I also do a photography blog
Is your current work anywhere to have a look at?
Good luck in your new business either way. (as in going with established sites first or opening your own)
